Wii Error 52100-52199

I got this error code while connection test after automatic setup. This problem was solved by manually configuring the IP-address and DNS servers. However, I received error 32002 during update after succesfull connection test. (via email, thanks Antti)

Try adjusting the "Channel" your wireless router broadcasts on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11. This can potentially increase the download speed.

Our experience has shown that you may need to manually enter your DNS settings into the Wii console in order to connect to the Internet. To determine these setttings, you'll need to follow the step below using your PC.

Another device may be sharing the same I.P. address of the Wii console. Try manually assigning an IP address to your Wii console.

Click the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner of your computer.

Click "Run."

Type "cmd" into the box and press Enter.

Type "IPCONFIG/ALL" and press Enter.

Enter in the exact same values for Primary DNS and Secondary DNS into the Wii console.

Solution for 52130

Speedtouch 585 router auto-configures an odd DNS address (10.0.0.138) on clients when its own address and DHCP adresses are in the 192.168.1.x range. Advice given by Nintendo Telephone Support was to manually enter the default gateway address in the DNS field, as this was known to fix some DS connection problems. Worked a treat. (thanks Tim)

Solution for 52141

Found a new error code fix. When I moved back to my dorm after the holidays, I had to switch over from my wireless router to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection USB Adapter. Whenever I tried a Connection Test, I would get Error Code 52141. From what I gather, 52141 means that the system can see the Wi-Fi Adapter, but cannot connect to the Internet through the computer. Simple fix for this one. Simply goto your Network Options and make sure that \"Internet Connection Sharing\" is enabled. This should do the trick!
